Great little spot to grab some quality food. I had the brisket taco and it was amazing. The brisket was cooked perfectly and super tender. The flavors on it were the right combination of sweet and heat. Service was super fast and everyone was very friendly. I'm looking forward to going back.

Staying at the Valencia and craved breakfast tacos. Walked by the huge line trying to get into the Panaderia on a Sunday and found the Texan Sizzle. Small place with a few tables only a block or so from the hotel. The wife got a barbacoa taco and I got a potatoe, bean and cheese. Big fresh tortillas made everything delicious. You can order lunch and breakfast all day. Would be nice when you need a burger in the AM.
Left our hotel downtown to look for someplace for breakfast, saw a city employee and he recommended the Texan Sizzle! I poked my head in and saw the Rolling Stone's taco tongue, that's where I was going to eat!! My chicken fajita quesadilla was crispy and delicious, and the owner and Suzy were super friendly and made our breakfast experience more enjoyable! Since I saw the BYOB sign on the wall, my next visit I will be taking a bottle of champagne so that I can have champagne and tacos, what's not to like about that????
An oasis of Great tasting food at a reasonable price, in a sea of touristy priced food . Workers are nice too. It's a little "hole in the wall "that seems to make people happy . You can BYOB , or go next door to the convenience store and pick one up. The drinks are bottled sodas and water all priced at 2.59. No cups no ice .
Unassuming hole in the wall restaurant in a tourist heavy area of San Antonio. I had the steak quesadillas and it was great. Prices are low and the small staff is very friendly and efficient. Texan Sizzle would be a frequent stop for me if I lived in the area.
Another San Antonio hole-in-the-wall gem that has earned my respect. Small in size, yet big in it's menu and service! It's signature Texan Cheesesteak Sandwich is superb! Highly recommended for any first timers.
